Project Description
51 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10003
This attractive and sedate pre-war building has a prime Lower Fifth Avenue location directly across from the lovely First Presbyterian Church and its extensive gardens. Built in 1928, it was converted to a cooperative in 1988. The 15-story building has 89 apartments.
What we did
- Installed a new double-wall chimney stack (20-in diameter 304SS inner wall and 24-in diameter 304 SS outer wall) running 200 feet tall at the exterior of the building.
- All exterior scaffolding and temporary structures and supports were provided by American Ventilation Services, Inc., which holds a Rigger’s License in the City of New York.
